Honey Locust is a large tree known for it's beautiful floliage and it's attract thorns that warn "Keep Off!" While most will have thorns as they mature, some naturally will not. This shade tree grows best in full sun but will tolerate a wide range of soil conditions. It's seeds are a preferred food source for many animals and insects, as well as the tree being a host to many butterflies and moths.
