This small tree can grow to be 20-30 feet tall. It grows in full sun and part shade, but blooms and fruits better the more sun it gets. It prefers moist acid soils of all compositions. Its showy light pink blooms emerge April - May. Edibles apples ripen in August and September that are great for cooking with. It is a Keystone Species that is host to 230+ different species. A HUGE supporter of wild life, from pollinating insects, birds, and many mammals.
