This deciduous vine can grow to be 50 feet long. This plant can create a great privacy barrier if grown on a trellis and a beautiful, dense ground cover to keep weeds at bay in your landscape beds. It grows in a wide range of conditions but requires at least part sun. It does require some care to keep it contained, but not any more than any other vine. The leaves turn into beautiful shades of reds and orange in the fall. Its small white flowers attract many different pollinators from May through July and its berries are an important food source for birds and small mammals in the cooler months after leaf drop.
